Emission Odor Control

Email - info@wastewaterpro.com

PRODUCT:

Multiple products are available depending on the type of emission being treated.

The amount of product actually needed depends on the intensity and volume of the emission being treated.

Series LFB systems chemically remove various contaminate gases (emissions) from an air stream and discharge treated air into the atmosphere. Resultant saturated liquid (which is normally non-toxic), is discharged into the wastewater. Units are designed to treat from 300 up to 3000 c.f.m., and may be located inside or outside.

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:

Horsepower: 3 to 20 Electrical requirement: 3-phase, 440 volt Pipe size: 6” to 12” in diameter Space required 6 ft x 15 ft up to 12 ft x 20 ft. CFM Capability 100 to 3000 Construction Stainless Steel

HOW LFB SYSTEMS OPERATE:

Odorous gases are drawn into the Series LFB. A chemical reaction occurs with resultant products absorbed into the liquid bath and discharged into the waste-water stream on a continual basis. Fresh product is continually metered into the LFB unit as long as the system is operating. Liquid level is maintained by a flow valve attached to a local water source. Treated gaseous vapor is discharged into the atmosphere. The size of the unit is determined by the flow-rate of the incoming gases. Treated gases are vented into the atmosphere.

SUMMARY:

Gaseous vapors are pulled from a source into the (LFB) system where it reacts with a formulation of multiple products and water. The amount of product used is based on actual experience during the first few days of operation and may be easily adjusted thereafter. As gaseous vapors are injected under pressure into the product formulation, a chemical reaction takes place and the resultant product gradually becomes more saturated.

A set amount of chemical is injected into reaction tank on a continual basis, based on intensity and degree of control desired. A set amount of spent liquid is discharged into the waste stream. this amount may be adjusted, as needed based on actual experience.
